| 解説 |
単純ヘルペスウイルスは初感染後、生涯にわたり三叉神経節、仙骨神経節に潜伏感染しているが、疲労、外傷、熱性疾患、妊娠などにより活性化され口唇部や陰部の皮膚に水泡を作るウイルスである。また、性器ヘルペスは出産時に新生児に感染すると重篤な症状をきたすため迅速診断が必要になる。臨床的には角結膜炎、口内炎、ヘルペス脳炎、性器ヘルペスなどで単純ヘルペス感染を疑う場合に測定する。また、回復期血清で高値が認められない場合は、1～2週間後に再検する。 高値（血清）：角結膜炎、歯肉口内炎、単純ヘルペス感染症、単純ヘルペス不顕性感染、ヘルペス性湿疹、ヘルペス脳炎 |
