| 解説 |
IGFBP-3はインスリン様成長因子-1と結合している10種類の結合蛋白の一つで、インスリン様成長因子の輸送や半減期の調節などの作用がある。肝で合成されるが、日内変動が少なく食事や運動の影響を受けにくいので、インスリン様成長因子-1と同様、成長ホルモン分泌の指標として測定される。臨床的には成長ホルモンの分泌動態を反映しているので、成長ホルモン分泌不全による低身長症の診断、治療効果判定に有用である。 高値（血清）：Cushing病、先端巨大症、巨人症、前立腺癌、前立腺肥大症、1型糖尿病、急性心筋梗塞、肝硬変、慢性腎不全、変形性関節症 低値（血清）：GH分泌不全症、GH不応症、成長ホルモン欠乏症、肝硬変、甲状腺機能低下症 乳癌、卵巣癌、低血糖症、下垂体機能低下症、嚢胞性線維症、神経性食欲不振症、強直性脊椎炎、骨粗しょう症 |
